Thoughts on Facebook Polls

Everyday, Facebook, my social network of choice, puts up an interesting poll of some sort. I’ve made it a habit to check each day what interesting question will be posed, and what answers their sample of 1,000 participants gives. Today’s poll was so interesting, I just had to post some commentary on it.

Recycling an Old iPod

Upon acquiring a job, which I start this Monday, I was jolly. However, I have a formidable car drive ahead of me daily, about forty minutes each way. I thought I was going to go crazy with such a long drive, listening only to the car’s engine and perhaps the radio. Dissecting SAT Score Report

In the mail a few days ago, the CollegeBoard sent me my official score report from the SAT I took in June of 2007. I’d known my scores already, but the score summary contained some very interesting statistical information about the chances of my scores going up.
