Pepcoming, my personal portmanteau for the week of Dover High School’s Pep Rally and Homecoming, is finally over. Sonic the Hedgehog has been confirmed as a character in Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Now I have to buy a Wii. Great.
I’m so excited! The official trailer for the The Golden Compass movie has been released on Yahoo! Movies. Although the last minute or so was highly exhilarating, I’m disappointed that they don’t refer to the namesake instrument as an Alethiometer; rather, throughout the entire trailer, it’s called the Golden Compass. Watch it.

I paid a visit to Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) today, and I must confess, I couldn’t have chosen a worse day to go. The weather was lousy; only now, homeward on Interstate 84, is the weather slightly welcoming. Unfortunately, it has shifted from unseasonably cold to unseasonably warm. To compensate, moving down a highway at 60 MPH with the windows open, listening to one’s favorite music, while typing a blog post is awesome.
