A friend of mine is involved with a hilarious group at NYU, and I’m a huge fan of their latest song, “Spr Pkn (Super Poke)”. It makes a statement about Facebook and its culture, but really, it’s just super well done.

PhotoBook is a Facebook photo browser for Mac. It makes it easy and fun to manage, share, and view your friends’ Facebook photos in one intuitive interface.
Mac users just have to try this application. It’s a great example of web services crossing over with desktop applications. I’m looking forward to more social applications like this. My favorite other mac desktop applications leveraging facebook include Facebook Exporter for iPhoto and FacebookSync.
I read an article today:
If you’re a high school junior or senior, you’re probably working hard to get into college — researching schools online, preparing applications, taking grueling SATs and ACTs and writing the perfect essay. Maybe you have an air-tight application.
But you could still blow it, with something you thought was harmless fun: Your online profile.
I certainly hope that the schools I’m applying to check out my online profile. In fact, I’m challenging them to. I’m certain that they won’t find anything unsavory, because I’ve worked for years to build up a positive online image.
