Hi. I’m looking for a roommate.

My name is Ricky; I’m 25 and work at Apple as a software engineer. I currently live in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in Mountain View, on the border of Sunnyvale. Super-unfortunately, due to issues that are beyond either of our control, my current roommate has to leave the United States. I’m very fond of my apartment; rather than move somewhere, I’d love to have someone new move in.

Facts about the apartment:

It’s located in Americana Apartments in Mountain View. That’s a 10 minute drive from Apple and very close to Google.
It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom. That is, you get a dedicated bathroom. Here’s the floor plan. You’d get the room labeled “Bedroom” and the bathroom in the hallway.
Each bedroom and the living room has its own air conditioning unit, which is fantastic when it gets hot.
The bedroom can come furnished (bed, desk, lighting), if you’d like.
The apartment has an in-apartment washer and dryer; granite countertops; and a modern refrigerator, oven, and microwave. There’s always plenty of parking around the building.
I already have super-fast Internet set up and a bunch of furniture.
Rent is currently $3,091, which I expect to split 50/50 (read: $1,545.50 a month, plus 50/50 utilities). Rent is likely to go up slightly next year.
The lease would start at August 30, 2015.

Facts about me:

I am generally happy with my life.
I don’t smoke or do any drugs. I am not 420 friendly.
I usually keep to myself, but like being friendly with whoever I’m living with. We could even be friends, but that’s not required.
I eat many of my meals at work and believe in doing dishes soon after using them, so I won’t be dirtying up the kitchen. I’m pretty clean in general.
